Situation

The business of providing services along with physical "places" has been hit hard by the restriction of activities due to the spread of the Covid-19. The B2C(Business-to-Consumer) industry has especially entered a period in which new strategies are inevitably required in the business of directly managed stores and businesses through wholesalers. The number of industry-classified bankruptcies by the Covid-19 were that restaurants ranked first, hotels and inns second, and apparel and general merchandise retailers third. A Japanese global retailer decided to consider hiring people from different industries to promote a strategic shift with completely new talent under the circumstances.

Action

This was a special project that only two companies including our company could handle among many agents. However, no matter how many excellent candidates we meet, it is not easy to get them passionate about an industry they have never experienced before. Result

After hearing about the appeal and significance of working at this company from their acquaintance, they decided to take the official employment selection process. We believe it took a lot of courage to make that decision. When we made preliminary proposals to the company representatives about the candidate, we made sure to explain their backgrounds and stories to them.

About two months after our introduction, they were successfully hired.
